The cartoon “Dungeons & Dragons” ran for 27 episodes over 3 seasons. It told the story a group of six kids who were trapped in the D&D realm and attempted to return home, aided by a character known as the Dungeon Master and pursued by a villain named Venger. Outside of the cartoon animation, the only real piece of painted artwork on the show was the episode title card which featured this menacing dragon-faced shield and a sword.
